Description Produced right after WWII as a highly affordable everyday aircraft for the common person. The Seabee used high production volume design and manufacturing, with such unique characteristics as a skin-stiffened (corrugated) wing structure. This permitted dramatic reduction in touch labor, tooling and parts count (there were only 3 ribs per wing section).
