Model PW1000G PurePower Geared Turbofan
Units Feet
Description This is the example presented at the 2020 OpenVSP Workshop in "High-Fidelity Airliner Modeling for CFD Analysis: Tips, tricks, and lessons learned." Whereas the geometry itself is not an accurate representation of the PW1000G, the considerations and modeling details are an excellent example of how to model turbofan engines for analysis in full Navier-Stokes Computational Fluid Dynamics codes.
Source Quality

4 - The source material used to create this model was Inaccurate. This means some photos and drawings with very few dimensions were used to create the model.
