| Description | This is a rough outline of a Continental O-200 engine. The model was made to evaluate cowling clearances for the DG-1. Some dimensions are inaccurate including but not limited to: Magneto, right side cylinder placement (#2 and #4), and 3d cross sections of each component. Cylinder/Head diameter includes cooling fins. No intake or exhaust were modeled. The model was made out of a collection of "Stacks" with placements, cross sections, and lengths modified to represent each component. Other engines could be built by modifying, copying and pasting, adding, and deleting the different components. No mass properties were added to model. |
