Description The Advanced-Electric Light Sport Aircraft (AELSA) is a preliminary design created as an aerospace senior design project in the Spring of 2014 at the University of Miami's Dept. of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. It is designed as a 2-place LSA with a 45 kW electric motor and a 2-hr. endurance at a cruise of 65 knots.
